We rebuilt the CRM demo after a prospect called it basic
A fashion brand with 200-plus enquiries a day looked at our CRM demo, said it was basic, and walked away. She was right. Two days later, FamingU Flow replaces it.
Last week a fashion brand got in touch about a CRM. She gets 200 to 250 enquiries a day across WhatsApp, Instagram, her website, phone and walk-ins. We showed her the demo we had built. She said, politely, that it looked basic, and that she did not want her customers' data sitting in a Google Sheet, and she did not go ahead. Both points were fair. The demo showed the idea of a CRM. It did not show what a business like hers actually needs, which is for the first 200 messages of the day to be handled before anyone has had tea.
So we started again. The new demo is called FamingU Flow, and the difference is that it runs itself. Every enquiry from every channel lands in one inbox. An AI reads each one and labels what the customer wants: buying now, buying later, just asking, order status, a complaint, or not interested, with a confidence score and a one-line reason a shop owner can read at a glance. Forty enquiries take about six seconds. Rules then decide what happens next: the catalogue goes out to someone who is ready to buy, a follow-up is set for the week before the date someone mentioned, a quote above the owner's limit waits for approval, and spam is quietly set aside. The owner is told about the few things that need her, and the rest waits for the daily summary.
When a lead is marked won, the ERP side takes over. An order is created with a number and a due date, the materials are reserved from stock, a purchase order is raised automatically if something runs short, the customer gets a confirmation, and when the order reaches its last stage the invoice is raised and the customer is told. Staff log in with their own role and see only what their job needs. The data lives in a proper database in Mumbai with a change log the app cannot switch off, not in a spreadsheet.
Two honest notes. The AI's label is a strong first guess, not a fact, so every one can be corrected with a tap and the correction wins. And the demo sends messages inside the app, not to real phones; connecting a real WhatsApp Business number is a per-client setup. You get your own private workspace with sample data, deleted after 24 hours, at famingu.com/demos/crm-erp.
