Solution
WhatsApp automation for business, in any country
Your customers already message you on WhatsApp. The only question is who answers, and how fast. In places like the UK, the UAE and Singapore, and for many customers in Canada and Australia, the business that replies first on WhatsApp usually wins the conversation. But WhatsApp was built for people, not teams, so a busy business ends up with one phone, one overloaded person and messages that wait. WhatsApp automation on your own number answers, books and follows up for you, and hands the rest to your staff in a shared inbox.
Customers message on WhatsApp, one phone and one person answer, and the messages that wait go somewhere else.
A WhatsApp Business API assistant on your own number with a shared inbox, approved templates and follow-up rules.
Every message answered, bookings and orders confirmed in the chat, and a team that works from one inbox.
Your number, answering on its own
It means a WhatsApp Business API chatbot that sits behind the number your customers already have. It answers the everyday questions from information you approve (opening hours, services, delivery areas, how ordering works), shows products from your catalogue, takes a booking or an order, and confirms it in the chat. Anything it should not handle (a complaint, a custom request, a question it cannot answer) goes to a person with the full conversation.
Your staff work from a shared inbox on their own logins, not from one phone passed around the office. Every conversation is stored in your system, so when someone leaves, the customer history stays with the business.
Why the free app will not get you there
The free WhatsApp Business app is built for one person replying by hand from one phone. Its automation stops at a greeting, an away message and quick replies. The WhatsApp Business API, part of Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, is WhatsApp for software: it lets a system receive and send messages on your number, run an assistant, and give several staff members access at once.
The API needs your business to be verified with Meta, and Meta charges for conversations under its own pricing, billed through Meta or the provider you use. We handle the application with you; the account and the number stay in your company's name. Our build-log post on the difference explains it for a clinic, and the same points apply to any business.
What we build on top of WhatsApp
The assistant is the visible part. Behind it sit the pieces that make it useful for a business: a shared inbox with a label on every conversation, rules for what the assistant may confirm on its own, message templates for follow-ups and reminders, and connections to the systems you already use, such as your calendar, your online shop, your CRM or your billing software.
Follow-ups are where most of the value is. A customer who asked about a product and went quiet gets one polite reminder; a booking gets a reminder the day before; an order gets updates as it moves. All of it runs on rules you set and can change, and every message is logged.
WhatsApp has strict rules. We build around them.
WhatsApp protects its users from spam, and the rules are strict. A business can reply freely within 24 hours of the customer's last message. Outside that window it can only send message templates that Meta has approved, and only to customers who have agreed to hear from it. Numbers that send unwanted messages get a lower quality rating and limits on how much they can send.
We design the system around those rules from the start: templates written and submitted for approval, a clear opt-in where customers give it, an easy way to stop messages, and follow-ups that are useful rather than noisy. It keeps your number in good standing, which matters more than any single campaign.
Working with us from wherever you are
We work remotely, in English, from India. Standard hours are IST, which overlap with US Eastern and Central mornings, sit inside the UK working day for most of its afternoon, overlap Australian afternoons with Indian mornings, and cover nearly all of the working day in the UAE and Singapore. Standups go in the overlap; written updates cover the rest.
The WhatsApp Business account, the Meta verification and the phone number are set up in your company's name, in your country, and stay yours. Whether the platform is available for your business type and country is decided by Meta; we check that with you before anything is built.
Not every customer uses WhatsApp
Most businesses have customers on more than one channel. The same assistant and the same inbox can handle WhatsApp alongside web chat, email and, in countries where customers text rather than WhatsApp, ordinary text messages, so the team works in one place whichever channel a customer picks.
For businesses whose customers mostly call or text, the AI receptionist page covers the same idea for phone calls and SMS. The demo on this site plays a sample WhatsApp conversation; FamingU Flow shows the shared inbox, the AI labels and the follow-up rules in a full working demo.
The honest limit is the same everywhere: the assistant's reading of a message is a strong first guess, not a certainty. It answers from what you approve, asks when it is unsure, and passes the conversation to a person rather than guessing. Every message it sends is logged, so you can see exactly what your customers were told.
How it works
- Step 1A customer messages your business's WhatsApp number, at any hour
- Step 2The assistant answers from information you approve and shows products or free times
- Step 3It takes the booking or the order and confirms it in the chat
- Step 4Anything that needs a person goes to your team's shared inbox with the full conversation
- Step 5Approved templates send reminders and follow-ups, within WhatsApp's rules
Runs on the WhatsApp Business API with your own verified number. Meta's conversation charges are separate and billed under Meta's pricing.
See it working
Tap a question and watch a sample conversation with the assistant. Sample data; no real messages are sent.
A full inbox with AI labels, automatic replies and follow-up rules, in your own private workspace with sample data.
All demos. Every demo uses sample data, and the browser demos never send anything to a real phone.
Questions
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
For automation on your own number, yes. The free WhatsApp Business app is for one person replying by hand. The API lets a system answer, lets several staff work the same number, and lets follow-ups run on rules. We apply for it with you; it usually takes a few days once the business is verified with Meta.
Can we keep our current number?
Yes. The number stays yours. How it moves onto the WhatsApp Business Platform depends on the options Meta offers for your country and account, and we walk you through them before anything changes, so you do not lose the number or your customers.
Can the business send the first message?
Only with message templates Meta has approved, and only to customers who agreed to hear from you. Within 24 hours of a customer's last message you can reply freely. We write the templates with you and set up the opt-in, so follow-ups stay within the rules.
Which countries does this work in?
Wherever Meta offers the WhatsApp Business Platform for your business, which covers most countries. We work remotely in English and set everything up in your company's name. If the platform is not available for your business, we will tell you before any work starts.
What does it cost?
The build is quoted after a 20-minute call, as a fixed price before any work starts. Meta's conversation charges are separate and depend on how many conversations you have and in which country; we estimate them with you so there are no surprises.
Text messages (SMS) to US numbers need a registered business number (A2P 10DLC), which we set up with you.
