Inventory API

An open-source Spring Boot API for managing product stock, built to show what a thoroughly tested backend looks like at every layer, not just a working demo.

Inventory API is a backend service for tracking product stock, the kind of system a shop or warehouse would run behind the scenes. It's built with Spring Boot, one of the most widely used frameworks for reliable Java web services.

What makes it worth looking at isn't just what it does, but how thoroughly it's tested. It has unit tests for the core business logic, service-layer tests, Spring's web slice tests for the API endpoints themselves, and full end-to-end tests that fire real HTTP requests at a live instance, the same way a real app would use it.

It follows the same testing discipline behind our AI test automation framework, applied here to a real-world backend instead of a browser.
